Born and raised in the Metro Detroit, Michigan area, Autumn Andersen currently resides in Nashville, TN. Somewhere in between the awkward stage of childhood and the looming reality of adulthood — on the cusp of coming of age — there is a moment when small dreams become one of two things: obtainable or forgotten. It was during this time that Autumn Andersen began making music in her bedroom. Picking up an old guitar and teaching herself to play, she scribbled pages full of songs into the wee hours of the morning. Sure that music was meant to be enjoyed and shared by others, she posted videos of her songs online — quickly catching the attention of blogs and influencers like Hellogiggles, Zooey Deschanel and Perez Hilton very early on.

And while her business career continued to grow as she continued to climb the so-called corporate ladder, one day, she decided to start fresh. Challenging herself to move somewhere new, without knowing a soul, and seeing where the world would take her. The world dropped her into Nashville — music city — where she is now finally stepping out of her bedroom and releasing a new EP, “Oh Michigan” this fall. A blend of bittersweet lyrics and catching melodies weaved together by vocal layering which navigate through emotions of all kind — dealing with love, loss and the reality of life through rhyme and tale. A love letter to her home state and the people who make it up.

Her newest EP, Oh Michigan, is anticipated to be released in the fall of 2018.
